Hilty, Tim & Andrea
Tim and Andrea met each other while studying in Tanzania, East Africa. From there God burdened their hearts for Africa and planted a seed to return and serve as missionaries. Shortly after completing their education at Wheaton College, Tim and Andrea were married. Three years later they headed to Zambia with Action International Ministries.
Since moving to Zambia, the Hilty family has increased by two. After deciding to adopt a Zambian child, God made clear his plans for them when authorities granted them custody of two-year-old Ireen. Nine months later, Ireen’s adoption was complete. A year later, on January 9, 2008, God blessed them with Ian, their first son.
From Jan 2006 through Dec 2007, Tim and Andrea led the CROSS team. Through a number of events, Tim was asked to serve as team leader. He accepted the position with the understanding that he could not do it in his strength alone. God has been faithfully providing for their needs, often through fellow team members. They eagerly anticipate what God will do in the life of Action Zambia Ministries both now and in the years to come.
