a. Conference Centre - The team house becomes available for immediate use by church groups and ministry teams that may have need for a conference facility. COMPLETE!
b. Football Pitch – Move football pitch from current location toward the Northwest most corner of the Ciyanjano property. Estimated cost: $ 2,500 COMPLETE!
c. Perimeter Fence – Erect a perimeter electric fence around the property with installation of a rolling gate at the main entrance. The football pitch will remain outside the fence line to maximize use by the local community. Estimated cost: $20,000. COMPLETE!
d. Pit Latrine - Dig pit latrine and then erect a latrine shelter that also has a plumbed hand-washing station. This facility will have 4 toilet seats. Estimated cost: $ 1,450 COMPLETE!
e. Nsaka Repair – Reconstruct Nsaka #1 at it’s current location. Having a large nsaka will give Ciyanjano an immediate dual capability– for meetings during the day – and sleeping shelter at night. Estimated cost: $8,000 COMPLETE!
f. Zambians On-Site - Jailos Sakala and Boniface Phiri will continue to stay in their current housing arrangement, with one Zambian family inside and the other family outside the conference center wall fence. Re-plaster Phiri house. Estimated cost: $ 200 COMPLETE!
g. Trees/Shrubs. These serve as visual blinds. Starting this early will give the plants time to get established before further work is undertaken in later phases. Jailos Sakala and Boniface Phiri, continue to cultivate large portions of lower Ciyanjano property. Agriculture works will be on display for visiting groups while supplementing the Sakala and Phiri families’ incomes. Estimated cost: $ 300 ON-GOING
