PHASE 3: Jan 2011– Sep 2012
a. Huckaby Housing - Improve the small house near the Phiri’s to accommodate the Huckaby family. Finish the bathroom and master bedroom, complete plumbing and electrical work. Estimated cost: $ 10,000 (maximum)
b. Camping Area 2 – Break ground for Camping Area 2. The area chosen is in a flat meadow close to the stream. This camp area will be dedicated for housing male campers. If church groups would like campers to be separated male from female– this area may be dedicated for housing male campers. This campsite will have a central fire pit.
c. Chalets & Mattresses - Construct 5 chalets that will accommodate 6-8 campers each. Estimated cost: $ 3,800/chalet ($19,000 total)
d. Tonga Kitchen – Erect a “Tonga kitchen” near the center of Camping Area 2. Estimated cost: $ 2,000
e. Ampitheater - Excavate and prepare terraced amphitheatre for use by groups watching outdoor drama. Install night spotlight for more versatile use. Estimated cost: $ 2,000
f. Pit Latrine – Dig pit latrine and then erect a latrine shelter that also has a plumbed hand washing station. This facility will have 4 toilet seats. Estimated cost: $ 1,450
g. Nsaka #2 — Build a brand new nsaka #2 overlooking agriculture area below citrus orchard. A second nsaka will allow 2 churches to meet simultaneously, break out sessions, or men and women from a church to meet separately. Estimated cost: $ 10,000
